O, Împărate Sfinte, Doamne Iisuse Hristoase, Dumnezeul nostru, izvorule al vieţii şi al nemuririi, îţi mulţumesc că în căsătoria mea m-ai facut vas ales al binecuvântării şi al darului Tău. Căci Tu, Stăpâne, ai zis: „Creşteţi şi vă înmulţiţi, umpleţi pământul şi-l stăpâniţi!”
Îţi mulţumesc şi mă rog: Binecuvântează acest rod al trupului meu, care mi-a fost dat de către Tine; ocroteşte-l şi dă-i viaţă întru Duhul Tău cel Sfânt; dă-i creştere întru sănătate şi trup curat cu mădulare bine întemeiate. Sfinţeşte trupul lui, mintea, inima şi toate simţurile şi dăruieşte acestui prunc care se naşte suflet înţelept şi întemeiază întru el frica Ta.
Înger credincios, păzitor sufletului şi trupului îi dăruieşte. Păzeşte-l, ţine-l, întăreşte-l şi-l adăposteşte pe el în pântecele meu până în ceasul naşterii lui şi nu-l tăinui pe el în pântecele maicii sale, pentru că mâinile Tale l-au alcătuit dându-i viaţa şi sănătate.
O, Doamne Iisuse Hristoase, întru Atotputernicile şi părinteştile tale mâini încredinţez copilul meu. Aşează-l pe el sub mâna harului Tău şi prin Sfântul Duh sfinţeşte-l şi-l înnoieşte întru viaţa veşnică ca să fie mădular al Cereştii Tale Împărăţii. Amin.
O, întru tot Milostive Doamne Iisuse Hristoase, Dumnezeul nostru, caută şi mă păzeşte pe mine, roaba Ta, de frică şi de duhurile cele rele care caută să strice lucrul mâinilor Tale, iar când va veni ceasul şi timpul meu, izbaveşte-mă de dureri. Luminează-mi neputinţele cele din timpul ieşirii şi dă-mi întărire şi putere la naştere. Fă-o grabnică prin Atotputernicul Tău ajutor, că slava lucrului Tău este aceasta şi tăria Atotputerniciei Tale, lucrul Harului Tău şi al inimii tale milostive. Amin!
